Had a great time with friends! The hotel was perfect for our getaway, and we loved exploring nearby places like Priory Park and taking a quick trip into London, which is just 16 miles away. Plenty of golf clubs around too. The rooms were nice, and the breakfast had a good selection. I recommend it for a fun group holiday.
One downside was the slow service at dinner. We waited a while before our food arrived, which was a bit frustrating.

This hotel was perfect for our large family trip, especially with three grandkids in tow. The location is great for exploring Hertfordshire and just 16 miles from London, making it ideal for day trips. We particularly enjoyed the time spent at Priory Park nearby.
My kids wished there were more entertaining activities for families. It would have been great to have kid-friendly amenities.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
Enjoyed the cozy ambiance of the room, particularly the comfortable bedding. Breakfast at the Cast Iron Bar & Grill was a highlight, offering delicious options. Note the paid parking — a bit of a surprise. I’d recommend verifying charges upon arrival for a smoother experience.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially chilling by the indoor pool and unwinding in the cozy sauna after a long day. The room was comfy, although I could've used a few more towels since there were only a couple for my needs. it was a great experience, just keep an eye on the heating system—it was a bit noisy! 😊

The internal courtyard garden offers a nice touch with its greenery providing a charming atmosphere, ideal for a quick breather. The room featured a modern layout with a fresh look that could make for an enjoyable stay when considering the surroundings.
While the exterior and common areas have charm, the room itself felt outdated, resembling styles from the early '90s with its dull vinyl wallpaper and tired furnishings. The heating system is a bit of a hassle, offering either too much warmth or too little, which made it challenging to find a comfortable balance. the breakfast options left something to be desired. I noticed the sausages lacked quality, and the coffee tasted overly stewed—nothing fresh about it. Some may appreciate the atmosphere for business meetings, but the rooms could really use an overhaul to bring them up to date.
